24/2/2010 SAY SOMETHING Despite a lot of effort from a lot of people, we didn't quite make it into the charts. We got a lot of positive feedback and hopefully have a lot more fans. It was an exciting week: Monday 15th saw an almost full-page article on us on page 3 of the South Wales Argus resulting in someone from ITV ringing us later that evening wanting to do a piece for Wales Tonight. This was hastily organised for the following day and was aired that evening, you can watch it HERE. Ian Camfield has been playing us on his rock show on XFM too, which can only be a good thing. We're aiming to get our next single out as soon as possible so watch this space! TOUR Well, it's not quite a tour, more like three gigs in a row with a couple of Travelodge stays, but it's still life on the road! This time we're kicking it up a notch by taking a fridge to put all our luxury food in rather than being ripped off by Little Chef. Rhyl, Southampton then Calne, hope to see you there!
2/2/2010 ![]() We were played on Kerrang last night which is very exciting indeed! They're playing us once a day at the moment and hopefully it'll get more regular. The video in question will be arriving on YouTube on Monday, watch this space! FACEBOOK GROUP We have a Facebook group for helping to get our single into the charts. Please join and invite everyone you know! BRIAN PHILLIPS The landlord of our local pub in Devauden, where we've played many times and gotten drunk at even more, passed away on Jan 20th and it was his funeral yesterday. It was a really nice service and the church (and it's grounds!) were absolutely packed. A well-loved man who will be sorely missed. 26/1/2010 XFM We were played on the X-posure show on XFM last Tuesday and are due to be played some more. Good news! 22/1/2010 CAMDEN GIG Last night's gig at Camden Rock was amazing and we'd especially like to thank Ellee and Rod, our SuperCrew! We left Chepstow at about 1.30pm which may sound early but getting stuck in one of the M4's frequent traffic jams when you're due on stage for sound check is not fun! The other advantage is that we got there early enough for me to trawl through the vast vinyl collection in the Music & Video Exchange on Camden High Street. I managed to find a copy of Trumans Waters' "Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass" for 10 calamaris which is one of my all time favourite albums and one you should totally check out, now! (Click here for the photos) The first two bands used our kit then made a swift departure before we played, as London bands do, but despite a poor sound system (even the sound guy was apologising!) we managed to rock the place and got a great reaction from everyone there. The half hour set seemed over far too quickly which probably wasn't helped by the fact that we played two 45min sets at our last two gigs. All in all an excellent gig and we can't wait to get back to London at the Relentless Garage on Highbury Corner on April 7th. Apparently they've spent loads of cash on the place (hence the Relentless sponsorship) so it should be pretty posh. Roll on Worcester tomorrow! Matt.
